October Fishing Report

November 30, 2017 by Captain Chris Donato

Fall has been producing some great fishing, Consistent current and lack of boat pressure has shown some good action.  We have had large bait schools on the buoys and along the ledges.  In amongst the bait we have seen marlin up to 600lbs and lots of Mahi mahi too.  Yellowfin have been a little slow on the troll, but boats fishing with live bait and in the schools have been doing very good.   December will produce better Mahi mahi action with tapered off and spotty Blue marlin fishing, however a return of striped marlin will fill in and Shortbill spearfish action will also start back up.
