I’m getting feed back about if it’s safe to come to kona with the volcano erupting or if it’s affecting the fishing. The volcano that is erupting is very far away, on the other side of the island. this is having no effect at all on us in kona and serves no threat to us at all! It’s eruptions are isolated to that area shown in photo. The only thing I can see any difference is more afternoon vog and haze (makes for some epic sunsets ) as per the fishing, it’s not effecting it and don’t see how it could. In fact the Fishing is shaping up to produce what could be an epic summer, way more around right now then last year this time so get down here, Kona’s safe ! On another note do keep the people down in that zone in your prayers, I believe most those homes are uninsured due to building on a active lava field, so many of these people will be completely homeless.
